What music do you like?
I know this is a broad question, but what kind of music does everyone like? I've been listening to a lot of Cut Copy and My Bloody Valentine lately. Here are some of my favorites of theirs:

I'll listen to anything that qualifies as music and is (subjectively, yes I know) good, but my preference is melodic/uplifting trance, straight 4 on the floor house, synth, indie, (some) shoegaze, J and K-pop/rock, some classical (Mozart and Haydn, mostly), classic rock, 90s. Really anything. If it was made within the last, say, five to ten years, then I prefer it NOT come from America, because our music is all pre-fab, spoonfed bullshit

I think that's an over-generalization. I wholeheartedly agree with the notion that current mainstream US radio is shit, but IMO some great artists have emerged out of America since 2010 (Kurt Vile, The War on Drugs, Tanlines, Kendrick, Run the Jewels to name a few).

Fair enough. I don't give enough credit for the acts that clawed their way through the bullshit (Late Night Alumni [Kaskade's side project] being one, and I would drop to a knee and deliver if they announced they were playing Wayhome), but, as you have already acknowledged, the point has been made
