Good eats?
Looking for some ideas for good food to bring to eat at camp. We usually take it pretty easy and depend on food vendors for most of our actual meals, but will be trying to step up our food prep game at camp this year.
In the past we've usually brought cereal and milk for breakfast, fresh fruit, bread, peanut butter, veggies and hummus, and other assorted snacks (e.g. granola bars, trail mix, etc.) to get us through the weekend, and then grabbed between 1 and 2 meals from the food vendors on site. This year we are thinking about either bringing a grill or camp stove and prepping some more filling meals at camp. Also starting to think about bringing stuff like pasta salad or something similar.
What are other people planning to bring for food? Any great meal suggestions?

I'm trying to get my crew to splurge and cook steak & potatoes on site for a Thursday night dinner. We're already spending a couple hundred - why not dish out a little more?

Wow steak and potatoes - Decadent! We are contemplating making a chili before we leave and heating that up for some dinners..

If it can't keep without refrigeration, I am NOT bringing it. That, and I intend to be a bit hedonistic for this shindig, so diet now (because I'm vain and insecure enough to want to be somewhat toned for the sweltering summer), Harvey's burgers and Timmies later
